5 Truth and Dare on every interns path

5 Truth & Dare on every intern's path

Why are interns treated like modern-day slaves?
There's no doubt that the internship abode is changing. Entry-level jobs have turned into an internship with no paid benefits. Unpaid internships have become a problem to pass in many fields to get to the paid internship.

Here are some of the big challenges that this work-system creates:

1)    Plenty of Work

Do you feel like all your hard work is getting you exactly ..nowhere?
Truth:  Interns are an inexpensive resource. Just because interns are glad to get a "foot in the door", some companies take advantage of young workers by giving them long hours of repetitive work. However, from overall observation, this problem mostly occurs in the legal, corporate, and banking world.

Dare: Always remember "Success necessitates Sacrifice" and "Hard work increase the probability of serendipity".A dream does not come true through magic it takes sweat determination and hard work.

2)  Fear Of Asking Questions

Truth:  When there's a load of work and you have a chance to prove your self! But, you are having doubts. You may feel stress to be an independent, ambitious worker, but its always better to clear doubts.

Dare:  To be a better worker: "Never Assume".Checking up on your doubts and clearing them will save you from silly mistakes and trespass.

3) Race with other Interns

Truth:  Every intern is not lucky to have a friendly work organization as interns might be completing internally for a good job recommendation or a future job post.

Dare:  At this stage, the most important quality is to be open-minded,drama-free, and easy to work with. It's okay if you aren't the fastest ambitious worker. People will choose to have your company because you have an impressive attitude and a joyful soul to work with.

4) Managers forget that you are new to the field

Truth:  It might be possible when the manager assigns you a project, its description creates questions in your mind. Not asking and Assuming all by yourself will end up putting you in trouble.

Dare:  Do not hesitate to ask questions. It's your right and their duty as a manager. In fact, they will be impresses that you care about doing it right or learning more about the overall field.

5)Your work is neglected

Truth:  Sometimes your project ends up never being punished, getting lost on the supervisor's desk, or due to miscommunication between the senior staff, your project is not of no use. This not only frustrates you but it makes you less motivated for a future project.

Dare:  Try not to look at it as wasted time and effort. Instead, see it as an experience or resume booster. Note it down, it will help you remember your experience and give you the sight of completion you need to push on.

CONCLUSION: Strength does not come from winning. Your struggle to develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.
"The secret of success is making your vocation your vacation".

7 Pyschological Laws of Success

                    7 Psychological Laws of Success

Most of us spend more time taking care of our material possessions than we spend taking care of our spirit. In a world where so many things require our attention, the larger purpose of our lives can be forgotten.

These 7 laws capture the essence of wisdom and share a wealth of information in less time than it takes to prepare ourselves a meal.

                                               1)Law of Pure Potentiality

- Pure potentiality is pure consciousness; it is the field of all possibilities and infinite creativity knowing who we really give us the ability to fulfill any dream we have.

-When our internal reference point is our spirit, out true self, we experience all the power of our spirit.
but when our internal reference point is the ego or self-image, we feel cut off from our source and the uncertainty of events creates fear and doubt.

-Practice non-judgment - Begin each day with the statement."Today I shall judge nothing that occurs"and throughout the day reminding yourself of the statement each time you catch yourself judging.

                                                      2)Law of Giving & Receiving

-Every relationship is one of giving and take because giving and receiving are different aspects of the flow of energy. It is simple: If you want love, learn to give love; If you want material affluence, help others to become material affluent, If you want attention & appreciation, learn to give attention and appreciation but the only important thing to be considered is the intent behind our giving and receiving.

-Always be grateful and open to receiving whether it be a material gift from others, a compliment, or a prayer.

                                                          3)Law of Karma

-Karma is the eternal assertion of human freedom. Our thoughts, our words, and deeds are the threads of the net which we throw around ourselves. Witness the choices you make in every moment.

-The best way to prepare for any moment in the future is to be fully conscious in the present. Whenever you make a choice, ask your--self two questions: "what are the consequences of this choice?" and "Will this choice bring happiness to me and to those who are affected by this choice?".

                                                          4)Law of  Least Effort

-To experience the least effort accept people, circumstances, and events as they are in this moment when confronted with any challenge remind yourself "This moment is as it should be".

-Take responsibility for your situation without blaming anything or anyone including yourself. Give up the need to defend your point of view. In defenselessness, you remain open to all points of view, not rigidly attached to one of them.

                                                             5)Law of Intention and Desire

-Make a list of your intentions and desires and look at this before you go to sleep at night and when you wake up in the morning. Release your desires to the field of pure potentiality, trusting it to handle all details for you. Know that when things don't seem to go your way, there is a reason.

-Practice present-moment awareness in all your actions. Refuse to allow obstacles to consume your attention in the present moment.

                                                              6)Law of Detachment

-Practice detachment involvement. Stay alert to the opportunity within every problem by letting go of your idea of how things should be. Accept uncertainty as an essential part of your existence. In your willingness to accept uncertainty, solutions will spontaneously appear. Remain open to all possibilities.

                                                              7)Law of Dharma

Everyone has a purpose in life, a unique gift, or special talent to give others. There are 3 components of the Law of Dharma.
  • Each of us is here to discover our true selves, to find out that we are spiritual beings.
  • Each of us has a unique talent that we are here to express.
  • We are here to serve our fellow human beings with our talent.
We need to combine the expression of our unique talent with service to humanity and make use of Dharma.
